While Loving Locks offers Sisterlocks® services, products, and salon space, Curl Academy focuses on empowering individuals through Sisterlocks® classes, other specialized natural hair classes, and mentorship programs.

About Senior Trainer
Janelle Wilson
Hello, I’m Janelle Wilson. My Sisterlocks® journey began in 2007, and I became certified in 2008. I became a Brand Ambassador and R-Certified to teach self-re-tightening classes in 2018, followed by becoming a Trainer in 2019. In 2022, I was appointed Senior Trainer by Dr. JoAnne Cornwell. After 20 years in government, I transitioned to doing Sisterlocks® full time in 2020.
As a Trainer and Consultant, I am deeply committed to honoring the Sisterlocks® Trademark Agreement, ensuring services are delivered and taught correctly so others can become successful consultants and business owners. Sisterlocks® fosters a community of sisterhood, and I’m proud to be part of that mission.
